The Drive Through Safari

The Drive Through Safari

The drive-through safari component of the park will allow guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with both exotic and endangered animals. Boarding one of our custom safari vehicles, guests will take an immersive and interpretive guided tour of an expansive wildlife savanna comprised of the open plains and forests of the 500-acre park. These tours will be designed to mirror the same experience as an authentic African game drive. Guests will encounter multiple species of African wildlife including giraffes, zebras, bongos, kudu, ostriches and more. Custom guided tours, behind-the-scenes experiences, animal encounters and feedings, photo opportunities, team-building activities, corporate excursions and personalized events will also be available to supplement the guest experience.

The Walk Through Adventure

The Walk Through Adventure

Future Development

When fully developed, the Georgia Safari Conservation Park will bring three attractions together on one site: a safari drive-through experience, a traditional walk-through zoo, and last but not least: Treetop Lodging!

Treetop Lodging

At the Treetop Lodge, guests will stay overnight in individual treehouses built high in the tree canopy overlooking the wildlife in an African savanna. This 50-unit boutique lodge will include an event space for retreats, weddings, birthdays, reunions, etc., as well as a resort-style pool and terrace, and a restaurant. You will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African savanna as the animals eat, socialize and go about their daily and nightly activities.

Future phases will include:

  • Treetop lodging and glamping
  • An expanded walk-through zoo covering over 100 acres, featuring wildlife from five different continents.
  • Additional safari drive-through experiences, including Asian and night safari experiences
  • A state-of-the-art veterinary teaching hospital
  • Expanded education programs and field trip opportunities
  • Conference and event space
  • Expanded children’s zoo to include a splashpad, train and conservation carousel.
  • Expanded VIP experiences, animal encounters, special events, and membership opportunities.
